Pick up from the hotel and first visit at temple wat Umong ,was found by the first king of Chiangamai called Mengrai , late of the time was decorated with tunnel man made using as a resident for a group of MAHAtHERA monk who came a visit and spread out the Buddhist in the reign of King Kuena,is located in the south of Chiangmai university ,contain of Bell shape pagoda which is influenced from Sukhothai, Burmese , Lanka Buddhist and top with lotus bud shape shown its unique Sukhothai style mixed , also up there on the pagoda where a part of umbrella decorated with statues of angels which can be found only in this temple . The Wat Umong was copied by a garden of Suanmok created by Phuthathat Pikku ,a professor monk who pass away and was well known about teaching Buddhist. “Buddhadasa Bhikkhu” is a noble monk to whom UNESCO dedicated its purpose in 2006. He is an important person who uses polydharma to lead society, formerly known as Ngueum Phanit, Chaiya District, Surat Thani. there is his statues in front of the tunel. Inside the tunel there are still wall paintings that are about 500 year.

Now The temple came to be a center of meditation contains with some building and accept people staying in a brief time with a group, if you are interested, please contact us, there is a big pond where you can feed some fish, birds, and turtles that they are freedom. Local Thai people go there for making a merit by feeding animals on occasion of birthday, Buddhist day for receiving your good day too. Children are recommended this temple.

After this we will go up to the mountain Doi Suthep , following of his name of a hermit Suthep who practiced on this mountain , here you will see the beautiful view of the city and his golden pagoda in architectures of completed Lanna Thai style made of wood craving and cement on the base of the building , the Naga stair case with 7 heads protecting and strong guardian .The relic of the Lord buddha was kept under ground and top with the pagoda decorated with gold leave ,impressive and recommended.

Touching and padding the elephant, feeding them with banana and sugar cane observe the baby and the mother can stay together very well, let’s talk with your guide from the camp about their different characteristics in each of them. Loi Krathong Day is considered a festival to ask for forgiveness from the Mae Kongkha who protects rivers and canals. Thai people, especially in northern Thailand, bring krathongs made from banana leaves putting flowers, incense sticks, candles. We will make the Krathong by hand, help each other make an example, then go to worship at Wat Phra Singh to receive holy water from the monks before we go to Wat Phan Tao to light candles to worship the Lord Buddha and float the Krathong in the river. We’ll take you on a tour tonight. Follow the procession ending at the river and hang out together. It is not allowed to release lanterns here. The Songkran Festival is held from April 13 to 15 every year if you want to touch the Songkran water with the people of Chiang Mai. Come spend the night from April 11 to 15, corresponding to the summer season in Thailand, play the water around the moat, usually for 2 days, from April 11 to 12. On other days, participate in ceremonies and learn about this festival , culture in various temples. You can still visit other places as usual. You can expect to see the Phra Singh procession on the 15th at Wat Phra Singh in the morning if you book multiple tours with us. We will be your friends for free today.

Flower and ornamental day, in winter, will be in February according to the local government calendar. There are processions where groups from different neighborhoods will join, bringing flowers to decorate the vehicles. It is very beautiful. You shouldn’t miss it. Flower processions showing various images according to beliefs, religions and cultures are organized in Buak Haad Park and can be seen for at least 3 days. You can walk around and see it at night. Then, making an offering call Sankhathan contains of the important things for monk at the temple wat Doi Suthep, see the golden pagoda and the architecture of Lanna Kingdom totally completed, and get some sacred cotton string putting on your wrist from a senior monk

at 17.00 visit the monks ‘s chanting Buddhist mantras called “Tham Wat Yen “praying, is an obligation daily twice a day, in the early morning and evening to show respect to the triple gems, to practice discipline and patience in the spirit of being ordained as a monk. The host will be responsible for lighting candles and incense to worship the Buddha.

Walk beside the main building to see the panoramic view of the city, then walk down the 7 heads staircase and return to the hotel, the offering is on us. We will prepare it for you.
